An image has the power of hundreds of words. This is how we could summarize the work of the Turkish artistGunduz Aghayev who, through strong illustrations, manages to find the angle and the staging that make us think. His drawings are shocks, sometimes gore but always indicative of problems that we guess first timelook.
Among his favorite themes is politics, the women's place in the world or the war and the terrorism. If this is the first time that we speak about this artist, this is not the first time that we approach the theme of committed illustrations denouncing the excesses of our society.
Our last favorite: the drawings of Stephan Schmitz with their inimitable style and their messages filled with cunning insinuations. Or the very amazing short film CanadianLubomir Arsov which denounces substantially the same things in a bluffing graphic style.
