This Danish orchestra plays after eating the strongest pepper in the world

If you did not know anything about it until now, peppersyou will be served. You can imagine: the species of peppers are many and some are much stronger than others. For example: Carolina Reaper is considered today as the strongest in the world, credited with 2 millions units on the scale of Scoville (the reference scale for classifying peppers). For example, a Espelette pepper is credited with 2000 units.

And if we're talking about all of this today, it's because a orchestra had the (good?) idea of ‚Äč‚Äčeating any of these peppers before each performance. The idea dates from 2014 and we come from theDanish National Chamber Orchestra where each of his musicians had challenged himself to swallow one of these peppers before playing.

And when you know a little the power of this chilli, we say that the musicians are endowed with incredible professionalism and a certain ability to take on them, because despite the "pain"they still manage to play remarkably.

The orchestra is conducted by Klaus Chile, a Danish artist specializing in spicy challenges. Behind the absurd side of the idea, it must be known that it was for the orchestra a way of claiming. In 2014, the latter was threatened with closure and ingesting a Carolina Reaper before playing was a way for them to show their determination. And when we know that the orchestra was saved, we must admit that the initiative was a clear success!
