A small dinner at open skyin a beautiful natural landscape, do you like it? That's good because it's the latest idea from Visit Sweden (The Tourist Office of Sweden). In collaboration with the agencyPrime Weber Shandwick, Visit Sweden had the idea of launching an amazing operation dubbed The Edible Country.
The idea: to propose to tourists to dine in outdoors and prepare their own meals from ingredients found in the nature. But beware: there is no question of starting from scratch. Visit Sweden has set up tables in different natural areas of the country. Once there, visitors are invited to prepare themselves a tasting menun of nine dishes by following the instructions given by four starred chefs.
Of course, all the utensils necessary for the preparation of the meal are made available to the visitors. A local guide is also present to accompany them in the process. Jennie Skogsborn Missuna, responsible for tourism experiences in Sweden, commented on this initiative:
Sweden is full of edible natural resources and we want to offer a friendly and tasty experience that allows us to discover these fabulous culinary treasures.
The Edible Country so is an excellent communication idea that helps to publicize the Sweden and its culinary riches, the time of a meal in the most beautiful natural places of the country. Offering tables across the country make this initiative the most great restaurant of the world! You will find more information on the official site of the operation.
