This artist transforms abandoned furniture into sad clowns

Every year, thousands of furniture are left abandoned in the streets around the world. Furniture that then has three options to finish their life: to be picked up by new owners (in the best case), by the services of town hall or finish in decomposition. In short, a gloomy future for abandoned furniture that also "pollutes" the streets.

À Los Angeles, the artist Lonesome Town (this is his nickname) had a project idea street art very original to raise awareness of all these abandoned furniture. His idea : turn them into sad clowns! With paint, he personifies his different finds (sofas, TVs, chairs, etc ...) to give them a sad expression and the make cry. An original project that aims, we doubt, to educate people to ... more cleanliness and less waste. To find out more about the artist and his project, visit his Instagram account.
