Everyone has already been confronted with the problem of returning alone at night, in the dark. Whether on foot, by bike or by car, we are not necessarily very reassured. In the UK, the insurance company Direct Line has set up a very original service called "Freelights". The idea: to create drones that illuminate road users at night to their homes.
Via a dedicated application on the smartphone, it is simply enough for the user to call the drones that will be there after 3 minutes to provide lighting. Alas, the project has not yet been put in place because of the regulations put in place related to drones and security. Nevertheless, we find the idea great and well found on the part of an insurance company.
